Bonus Terms Explained
Bonus offers can be great value — but only if you understand the fine print. Here's a plain-English breakdown of the terms you'll encounter most often at online casinos in the Philippines.
Always read the T&C before claiming any bonus. The terms set the rules — knowing them helps you choose the right offer for your playing style.
Wagering Requirement / Rollover
The number of times you must bet the bonus amount (or bonus + deposit) before any winnings can be withdrawn. A "10x wagering requirement" means if you receive a ₱1,000 bonus, you must place ₱10,000 in total bets before cashing out. Common ranges are 10x to 30x.
Example: Claim a ₱2,000 bonus with 15x rollover → you need to wager ₱30,000 total before the bonus balance is withdrawable.
Maximum Bet During Bonus
When you're playing with active bonus funds, casinos cap the maximum stake per round — typically between ₱250 and ₱500 per spin or hand. Exceeding this limit usually voids the bonus entirely, regardless of how much you've rolled over.
Example: If the max bet rule is ₱300, placing a ₱600 slot spin while on a bonus will result in the bonus being forfeited.
Game Contribution
Not all games contribute equally toward clearing wagering requirements. Slots typically contribute 100%, meaning every ₱100 bet counts as ₱100 toward rollover. Table games like baccarat or roulette often contribute only 10–20%.
Example: Bet ₱500 on roulette at 10% contribution — only ₱50 counts toward your wagering requirement, not ₱500.
Bonus Expiry
Bonuses have a time limit. If you don't meet the wagering requirement within the expiry window, the bonus and any winnings from it are forfeited. Common expiry windows are 7 days, 14 days, or 30 days from the time of claiming.
Example: Claim a bonus on Monday — if the expiry is 7 days, you must complete rollover by the following Sunday or the bonus disappears.
Sticky vs. Non-Sticky Bonus
A sticky (or "phantom") bonus stays in your account as you wager but cannot itself be withdrawn — only the winnings you generate from it can be cashed out once rollover is met. A non-sticky bonus is deducted from your balance before withdrawal but the remaining cash is fully yours once conditions are met.
Example: Win ₱5,000 using a ₱1,000 sticky bonus → on withdrawal, the ₱1,000 bonus is deducted, leaving you with ₱4,000 withdrawable.
Maximum Cash-Out
Many welcome and free-spin bonuses cap the maximum amount you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings. Even if you win ₱50,000 from a ₱500 free spin bonus, the maximum cash-out clause may limit you to withdrawing ₱5,000.
Example: Free spin bonus with ₱5,000 max cash-out cap — any winnings above ₱5,000 are not withdrawable under the bonus terms.
